SPECIAL SESSION ON INTELLIGENT MOBILITY AND AI-NATIVE COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES

The rapid evolution of intelligent transportation, autonomous aerial systems, and next-generation wireless technologies is transforming the future of connected society. Emerging applications such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), high-speed rail (HSR) communications, autonomous transportation, integrated sensing and communication, and AI-native networking require highly adaptive, reliable, and low-latency communication infrastructures.

Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, edge intelligence, and autonomous optimization techniques have enabled new opportunities for intelligent mobility systems and advanced wireless communications. These technologies support dynamic network adaptation, predictive resource management, autonomous operation, and real-time decision-making in highly complex and fast-varying environments.

Particularly in UAV-assisted networks, high-mobility communication scenarios, and intelligent transportation systems, conventional communication frameworks face significant challenges related to mobility management, channel dynamics, reliability, latency, and energy efficiency. AI-driven methodologies are expected to play a critical role in enabling robust, scalable, and autonomous communication architectures for future B5G/6G ecosystems.

This special session aims to bring together researchers, engineers, and practitioners working on intelligent mobility systems, UAV-enabled communications, high-speed transportation networks, and advanced AI-driven wireless technologies. The session will provide a platform for presenting novel theoretical developments, optimization frameworks, practical implementations, and emerging applications in next-generation intelligent communication systems.
